So, you’re a compliance pro with an interest in tech and building sound relationships?
As a compliance manager at Cambridge Intelligence, you’ll ensure our customers are compliant with their software agreements, helping to identify commercial opportunities as you go.
You’ll work proactively with customers to ensure they understand how to use our products and services compliantly, and act on any breaches to their terms. This is a new role and a great opportunity to define and implement our compliance strategy.
You’ll start by working with our sales team to understand each new customer’s use of our toolkits, and ensure their product is well-defined in their contract. From there you’ll monitor and analyze the customers’ use of our products to ensure compliance and identify any upselling opportunities.
You’ll monitor for IP leakage, contact customers to ensure compliance, and discuss any concerns. If necessary, you’ll complete audits after breaches are discovered and manage any third parties during mediation.
Who’s the ideal candidate?
This is quite a specialist role needing commercial, technical and legal expertise, so it could be a great opportunity for a software licensing compliance manager or auditor ready for a step-up. Or, you might be from a consultancy background in the security, compliance or software licensing space and looking for a more hands-on and varied role.
You might also have experience of:
- Legal considerations and contracts within software, licensing and SLAs
- Commercial and relationship management both with customers and internal stakeholders
- Working directly with software products from a technical perspective
- Leading an audit process with any enforcement actions
Who you’ll work with
This is a very cross-functional role, sitting within the operations team but working very closely with our customer success managers and directly with our customers. Collaboration with the legal and sales team will also be a big part of this role.

We’ll ask you to prepare a short presentation, which you’ll share during the interview.

After the presentation, we’ll ask you some questions and then give you plenty of time to ask your own.
3. Last chat
