2024 Product Roadmap event
This is our annual roadmap showcase! It’s your chance to interact directly with our team and meet with other data visualization practitioners from all over the world.

New narrative possibilities for intelligence workflows
Cutting-edge analysis is of little use if you can’t share the insights.
This session is a deep-dive into intelligence dissemination and how to create the best possible visualization for each stage of the intelligence life cycle.
First, we’ll review the customer challenges we see most, and share some best practice tips. Then we’ll explore new ways to add narratives to charts and timelines, and exciting new use cases and workflows that these narratives unlock.
During this session, you’ll learn how to:
- Encourage more collaborative investigations and projects
- Design a snapshotting workflow for saving and restoring data during an investigation, even as the underlying data changes
- Make complex data insights and discoveries accessible to non-experts, within the workflow of your application
This is a knowledge-sharing session. We’ll look at current challenges, and share best practice advice and functionality to help you address them.

This session is a deep dive into data visualization performance, exploring ways to ensure a great user experience even with the biggest datasets.
We’ll review common customer challenges, and the best practices we recommend. Then we’ll share the next-generation tools and approaches that we’re researching to keep your visualizations running at blistering speed.

- New and innovative approaches to summarizing data before you bring it to the front end
- A first look at some next-generation tools we’re researching to keep performance high when working with large datasets

The Connected Insights series is all about helping our customers do more with connected data visualization. They’re free, concise and expert-led sessions addressing specific topics, so it’s a great opportunity to learn something new.
But it’s also your chance to give direct feedback to us – on our products, roadmaps or any other issues you want to discuss.
Anyone who designs, builds and deploys connected data visualization applications. Product Managers, UX/UI designers, front-end developers and commercial leads are all welcome.
Some technical sessions are better suited to developers. See the ‘who should attend this session?’ information on the individual event listings for details.

To encourage free-flowing conversation, we don’t plan to share Connected Insights session recordings. Instead, we’d encourage you to join the live meetings and get the full experience!

Connected Insights is the evolution of CDVC. These sessions combine the elements our CDVC members valued most – just with a more varied agenda and a more concise format.
