Careers at Cambridge Intelligence

The work we do matters.

Our data visualization tools are part of something big.

They help catch criminals, stop cyber-attacks and unmask fraudsters. The people behind them are just as important – curious, collaborative, and committed to doing work that makes a real difference.

Life at Cambridge Intelligence

How we work

It’s important to us, and to our customers, that our products can be trusted. That means never saying “that’ll do” or releasing things before they’re ready. When we commit to a project, quality comes first.

We support this with an open environment of feedback and friendly debate. You’ll learn a lot here, and we’ll learn from you too. From day one, you’re encouraged to get stuck in, have an opinion, and share it. A simple “what if…?” can have a big impact.

Stability and growth

We’re a successful, growing business, with the momentum of a scale-up and the stability of an established company. We think it’s a unique combination.

We’ve grown sustainably since day one without any external investors. The secret to our success is the quality of our products and the people behind them. You won’t be just another cog in the machine here – everyone’s contribution is recognized and rewarded, including through quarterly bonuses.

A flexible and healthy work-life fit

We want you to do your best work with us, and that starts with a healthy relationship between work and life – not finding time for life around work.

That’s why we’ve embraced hybrid working, with up to 80% working from home and flexible hours, so you can find a rhythm that works for you.

Your professional development

We value the importance of downtime and making space to connect beyond day-to-day work.

When you join us, there are regular opportunities to get together – shaped by the team and driven by people’s interests. If you have an idea, you can join the social committee and help make it happen.

Our interview process

We’ve designed our recruitment process to be thorough, fair, efficient and insightful – giving you a sense of what it’s like to work with us. While the exact steps vary by role, we typically follow three or four stages to get to know you better:

Step 1

Apply

Submit your application through our careers site. We review every application carefully and aim to get back to you quickly.

Step 2

Introductory call (30 mins)

If our Talent Team think you’re suitable for the role, they’ll reach out to arrange an informal video call. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about your experience in relation to the role and check for a mutual fit, and check for a mutual fit.

Step 3-4

Role-specific stages

Most roles have 2-3 further stages. These might include interviews with your future teammates, role-based exercises, or a chance to meet leadership.

Offer!

If everything aligns on both sides, we’ll make you an offer to join the team.

Don’t forget: it’s a two way thing

Ask questions, share any concerns and let us know if we’re unclear. We don’t do trick questions, and won’t aim to confuse you. Share your thoughts and let us know if you need adjustments. Throughout the process our aim is simply to see how we can do great work together.
