Are you a super-organized legal compliance professional who enjoys building relationships?
Take a leap forward, with this career-defining opportunity to roll out a new compliance function.
What’s involved?
This is a new role and a great opportunity to define and implement our compliance strategy. You’ll start by working with our legal and customer success team to understand each new customer’s use of our toolkits, and make sure their product is well-defined in their contract.
From there you’ll monitor and analyse the customers’ use of our products to ensure compliance with their software agreement, and identify any upselling opportunities. You’ll work proactively with customers to make sure they understand how to use our products and services compliantly, monitoring for IP leakage and addressing any concerns. If necessary, you’ll complete audits after breaches are discovered, and manage any third parties during mediations.
Who’s the ideal candidate?
This is quite a specialist role, so someone with a legal brain and a strong commercial and technical background would be a good fit. This could be a great opportunity for a contracts manager, software licensing compliance manager or auditor ready for a step-up. Or, you might be from a consultancy background in the security, compliance or software licensing space who’s looking for a more hands-on and varied role.
You might also have experience of:
- Contracts experience within software, licensing and SLAs
- Commercial and relationship management, both with customers and internal stakeholders
- Working directly with software products from a technical perspective
- Leading an audit process with any enforcement actions
Who you’ll work with
This is a very cross-functional role. Reporting directly to our Chief Operating Officer (COO), you’ll sit within our legal team and work very closely with our customer success team – and directly with our customers. Collaboration with our senior management team will also be a big part of this role.
Opportunities to grow
There are lots of great opportunities to grow personally and professionally. You’ll lead on defining and implementing the new compliance strategy and integrating cross functionally with commercial, legal and technical teams and processes. You’ll also have five funded personal development days to help you grow within your role.
Be yourself
We want to build a fair, respectful and welcoming company, where everyone feels at home. That means taking a long-term approach to equality, diversity and inclusion – not treating it as a tickbox exercise.
With the help of our EDI group, we’re working to make every aspect of the business – including recruitment – fair, respectful and inclusive.
