What’s the role about?
The licence compliance manager will conduct investigations to ensure that our customers comply with our agreements. You will gather customer data through direct requests and analyzing usage patterns.
At times, you may need to have difficult conversations with customers, making them aware of infringements, opening negotiations, and if necessary, initiating the audit process. In these cases, you will need to manage the audit process, working with internal stakeholders and third-party auditors.Finally, you will ensure that we remain compliant in all of our software licences.
Who’s the ideal candidate?
You should have a broad combination of technical, contractual and commercial awareness, gained within the software industry. This will enable you to understand our underlying technologies and interpret the licence agreements that cover them.
You should be comfortable engaging with customers and negotiating in a tough, but diplomatic way.
