Meet the team

Chris is a Chartered Accountant with over ten years’ experience in financial management. His career began as a software engineer specializing in database design and development before he joined PwC to obtain accounting qualifications.

Chris joined Cambridge Intelligence from Marshall Aerospace and is the lead for developing and maintaining all financial procedures.

Alex is our ‘go to’ person for all day-to-day financial matters. He oversees all of our accounting activities, keeping our planning and reporting ship-shape. He also supports the HR team with employee payroll, benefits and expenses.

Alex is a Chartered Certified Accountant with over 15 years’ experience in audit and accountancy.

Cara works with our busy Finance team, reviewing sales invoices, balance sheets and reconciliations, along with month-end reporting and analysis.

She has over seven years’ experience in Finance, having previously worked at an award-winning fulfilment partner to hundreds of e-commerce brands.

As our Financial Accountant, Hisako is mainly responsible for the company’s bookkeeping. From the recording of financial transactions to managing payroll, purchases and expenses, Hisako works with Alex, Chris and Rachel to ensure the company is in complete control of its finances.

She also holds a qualification from The Association of Accounting Technicians.

Jonathan is an experienced Finance Assistant with a degree in BA (Honours) Business Management from The Open University.

He works in our busy Finance team handling everything from invoices to expenses, credit control to staff benefits. Outside work, Jonathan enjoys playing lead guitar at his local church.

As a member of our finance team, Rachel ensures our accounts are in order.

She is an ACCA-certified accountant, with a long history of working with technology start-ups in Cambridge.
