Head of Development

As our head of development, Clara’s main responsibility is to keep our development teams happy and motivated, ensuring we continue to deliver great features for our market-leading products.

She has over 15 years’ experience in the software industry, including time at notable Cambridge companies nCipher and i2. She also has a Masters in Computer Science and an MBA from Loughborough University.

Phil Rodgers

Developer

Phil has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and has worked for a number of Cambridge software companies. His software development experience includes desktop publishing, GIS, Formula 1 motor racing, and data visualization & network analysis.

He spent several years at i2 as part of the Analyst’s Notebook development team, and has particular interests in visualization and usability issues.

Zoë has been building great web applications for more than a decade. Past roles, including a stint at Citrix, have given her a grounding in a wide range of different web technologies.

In particular, Zoë brings an eye for UX and UI perfection, designing new functionality and helping our customers get the most out of our products.

Test Engineer

Roger is a Test Engineer with ISEB certification and over 15 years’ experience of testing application suites in the finance, telecommunications and data quality sectors. He has experience as a technical lead for major releases, leading teams working on new enhancements and driving quality process initiatives.

Developer

Julia has developed software for a variety of companies, ranging from start-ups to multinationals. She has a Masters degree in Mathematics from University of Cambridge and enjoys learning about algorithms and using them to write elegant and efficient code.

Ray joined us from IBM, where he’d been researching new technologies. He has many patents relating to data visualization, high-performance scientific computing, computer vision and machine learning. He also takes an active role in the Open Source software community, contributing to several popular projects.

Our dev team is constantly finding ways to make our technology better. As a member of the team, Tim helps develop new features and provides customer support. He has a degree in Maths from the University of Cambridge and has industry experience in trust and company administration software.

After a few years keeping our docs up to scratch as our technical author, Tom switched roles to become a software developer.

He’s especially interested in UX and UI, making sure our customers have the best possible experience. When not writing code, running tests or designing experiments, Tom spends his downtime fencing and rock climbing.

Scott looks after the team processes and projects for our KronoGraph development team, making sure everyone is happy, motivated and able to deliver a market-leading product.

Before he became enamored with software development, Scott was our talent manager. His background includes a Masters in Organizational Psychology and 10 years of HR and recruitment experience.

During his time working in the Off-Grid Renewable Energy Industry, Warren taught himself programming. The challenge and enjoyment spurred him to pursue a change of career towards software development, bringing him to our team as a Software Developer.

Prior to the career switch, Warren specialized in Economics and Sustainable Development.

Joe’s background includes academic research in phytochemistry and enzymology, as well as software development for control of scientific instruments.

During his master’s at UCL, he gained an interest in data visualization using JavaScript and he is excited to be following this thread in our development team.

As our Test Engineer, Jamie has found a productive outlet for his passion for breaking things.

Before joining our development team, Jamie spent 8 years testing software and hardware for energy management and access control.

He works closely with our developers, uncovering potential bugs in our software before they impact our customers.

Matt is a talented software developer with an eye for UX, performance and design.

Since graduating from the University of Oxford with a Masters in Engineering Science, he has worked in a variety of analyst, consulting and technical roles in Cambridge and his native Jersey.

Most recently, he founded his own agency for designing and building web applications. This led him to join our development team where he mostly focuses on new features and projects.

Chris is a talented web developer with a particular interest in JavaScript, React and GraphQL.

His background covers the full web stack, with experience in the UK, his native Germany, and Indonesia, including internships at Facebook and Instagram, and most recently a project building an online gaming platform.

Technical Author

With a background in translation and technical writing, Alex is an experienced communicator.

She has a Master’s degree in translation and interpretation from her native Czechia, and has spent recent years localizing marketing content for a Cambridge translation company, and writing technical documents for a digital communications firm.

Outside of work, Alex is a keen badminton player.

As a software development manager, Amy looks after our KeyLines development team, helping to keep everyone on-track, happy and motivated, and ensuring our processes run smoothly.

Her background includes time as a DBA for companies including Worldpay and Play.com, and more recently as a team lead at Ocado Technology.

Test Engineer

Zenon uses his nearly 20 years’ experience to put our toolkits through their paces, designing and running automated test strategies that discover bugs and issues before they impact our customers.

Before joining us, Zenon worked at some of Cambridge’s best-known software businesses, testing complex software and commercial systems.

If a masters in physics and a PhD in theoretical astrophysics weren’t impressive enough, Martin also spent 5 years as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Cambridge, using state-of-the-art techniques to simulate black holes and galaxies.

He’s keen to put his coding, analysis and visualization skills to good use on our graduate program.

As our DevOps Engineer, Nick keeps our development team on track by planning, building, optimizing and automating as much of our technical infrastructure as possible.

Before joining us, Nick honed his coding skills at a number of tech successful startups, building everything from recruitment software to homecare solutions.

Test Engineer

Luke’s background as a chemist gives him the methodical, detail-oriented approach needed to be a great test engineer.

Before joining us, he worked as a tester for a predictive analytics company. He works mostly in the ReGraph team, designing and running test plans that spot software bugs before they reach our customers.

Slaven Andjelic

Slaven is a talented front-end developer with a flair for building sophisticated JavaScript tools.

Following a degree in music technology, he switched to the world of web application development, first as an IT security specialist then as a software engineer. Slaven is a talented musician, devoting time to music production, DJing and event planning outside of work. He also co-runs a London-based charity events collective.

Carolyn is an experienced test engineer having worked in start-ups through to multinational companies. She has applied her bug finding skills to a variety of software products including subtitling software, mobile applications and remote access software.

She has ISEB/BCS software testing certification and a degree in Business Information Systems.

Following a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, Jake discovered a love for programming during his Cell Biology PhD at The Francis Crick Institute.

After a couple of years as a post-doc using computational techniques to study how cells make decisions, Jake joined Cambridge Intelligence to write computer code full-time, and continue his interest in data visualization.

They have a passion for turning conceptual ideas into clear and concrete actions for the end user, whatever their level of expertise.

Courtney joins us as a graduate of Cambridge University, where she studied Aerospace Engineering. She discovered data visualization during some web development training and is looking forward to learning from the best as part of our graduate program. Outside of work, Courtney is often at her sewing machine attempting her latest project – a lockdown hobby that stuck!

Developer

David has a first class honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Surrey. Before joining our ReGraph team, he spent two years with IBM as a Java developer, working on investigative analysis tools for law enforcement.

Outside work, David hones his coding, analysis and visualization skills on TypeScript React projects; he also enjoys creative writing, and singing at his local church.
