Meet the team

Carolyn Dong

An experienced test engineer, Carolyn has worked in start-ups and multinational companies. She has applied her bug finding skills to a variety of software products including subtitling software, mobile applications and remote access software.

She has ISEB/BCS software testing certification and a degree in Business Information Systems.

David Egbue

David has a first class honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Surrey. Before joining us, he spent two years with IBM as a Java developer.

Outside work, David hones his coding and visualization skills on TypeScript React projects; he also enjoys singing at his local church.

Max Dalton

Platform engineer Max has an MComp in software application development. He brings plenty of experience in building applications using cross-platform frameworks, including map-based visualization tools.

He’s particularly interested in system infrastructure, making sure that developers can build and deploy smoothly, while tackling any issues encountered along the way.

Nick Collings

Nick shapes the strategy and roadmap for the Platform Team, working closely with Development and Product Managers to meet the technical needs of the business.

Before joining us, Nick honed his coding skills at a number of successful tech startups, building everything from recruitment software to homecare solutions.

Ricardo Rodriguez

Ricardo supports his colleagues and the office management with hardware and software help, maintenance and setup.

He’s an experienced network administrator and, outside work, a talented chef and graphic artist.

Simon Costello

Simon ensures our whole team has the systems, data, equipment and tools they need to do their job well – something he has being doing for more than a decade.

When not designing systems, answering support requests or untangling vast amounts of cabling, Simon can be found jamming on a guitar.

Valeesha Coutinho

Valeesha has over 7 years of experience in tech, working as a Test Engineer and Scrum Master. She’s recently taken a deep dive into infrastructure and operations, broadening her skill set beyond testing.

When she’s not busy bug-hunting and breaking builds, she powerlifts for fun.

Alex Lapley

Alex develops and maintains reliable infrastructure and software delivery systems for our products and supports our Product Development teams as a Platform Engineer. He graduated from the University of Cambridge with a masters in Natural Sciences before becoming a graduate software engineer. He was also a captain and communications officer for his College boat club.
